Morning Glory Inn

What a terrific place and great hosts. Close to tidal cove and York river and short bike to beach. Very comfortable, roomy place. The bedrooms are all unique with plenty of room in each one. Highly recommend this beautiful spot. Thank you Margie!

Morning Glory Inn is absolutely adorable and the perfect place for a stay. The owner met us at the door and did a great job explaining the house and all of the places to see on our visit. The breakfast was a huge bonus and he makes fantastic coffee. The gardens are gorgeous and this was a great find on our stay. Charming and romantic.

We had a beautiful stay at the Inn. It was a peaceful home base away from the traffic and crowds but only a 5 min drive from the beach. The owner made us feel like VIPs and we would definitely stay again.

A very beautiful inn. Each room had its own bathroom and outdoor patio. Breakfast was served outdoors if you want. The food was delicious. The inn was close to the beach and some great restaurants. You have a short drive to Portsmouth NH and Mass. if you want to visit there.

Charming little inn with owners that clearly put a lot of care into it. Doug met us upon arrival and was informative and welcoming. We stayed in the Seabury room which was clean, spacious, and had a working fireplace. Bed was very comfy. We stayed with friends so spent a lot of time in the common space, so it almost felt like we had rented the whole house. I felt it was a little pricey for the off season but we had beautiful Fall weather so can't complain, and included a simple breakfast (pastries, coffee, fruit). Would definitely stay again!

For my dad and I, this inn was in a perfect location. Close to the village of York, walks along York harbor, the beaches and restaurants - but not too close. It is in a wooded area and was wonderfully quiet with a lovely garden. Breakfast was really good and the rooms were cosy, clean, and functional. There is a sitting area, and library in this renovated farmhouse. Doug is a fine and patient host. My dad and I had a wonderful time in Maine, and this B&B was a excellent part of our experience.

My family recently stayed at Morning Glory Inn and I cannot say enough great things about our visit. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The Inn itself was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The breakfast was incredible with homemade quiches, muffins, breads and beautifully arranged fresh fruit cups. Although you come to Maine for the beautiful beaches and surroundings, the visit to Morning Glory Inn itself is worth the visit! The innkeeper was welcoming and gracious and his staff was amazing. We highly recommend a stay here!

This is the cutest little inn! I was in town for a wedding and was looking for a nice place to spend the night before heading home. I’m so upset that we didn’t stay longer!! This little inn was so adorable and cozy. You really felt like you were sleeping in someone’s old New England seacoast home. Our room had a private deck with beautiful views of the forest around. The owner is absolutely lovely and wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible even though it was for just one night. There was also breakfast and coffee available in the morning. It was absolutely wonderful to be able to sit outside on the deck, sipping coffee from a big mug. 10/10 must visit!
